Local Priorities Vehicle Crime - them from / theft of Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle Crime - them from / theft of, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

This afternoon Caerphilly Central Neighbourhood team have arrested a homeless male from the Pontllanfraith area in connection to the vehicle thefts that have taken place over the last week. The male had been walking the streets of Crosskeys in the early hours trying car doors in the hope that they were unlocked. The male is also suspected of shoplifting offences in Risca.
We would like to thank the Crosskeys community for all the CCTV footage sent in relating to these incidents which has help us identify the male. If you have any further information please contact 101 or message me through this system.
